A moment of pause.

This fall, I will be taking a break to restructure and plan for 2018.  I've been developing some exciting ideas for workshops and exhibitions with friend and collaborator Coleman Stevenson,  which will take place in new spaces and involve new communities of artists, writers, healers and performers.  To stay informed of these developments, please join our mailing list.  As we look forward to the upcoming winter, the future remains bright!  Thank you for your continued attention and support.

Be well,

Noelle S. Barce

DRAW SPACE IV

Tonight! Join us for North Portland's monthly drink-n-draw in the Wild & Free Room at Backyard Social Bar!  Bring a sketchbook or project to work on, and I will bring some drawing supplies, collage materials & reference books.

As usual, you'll receive one raffle ticket with each bar purchase. This month I'm giving away a small pad of cold pressed, cotton rag watercolor paper by Fluid, and a set of aquarelle art crayons by Marabu (a personal favorite)! Runner-up gets a $10 gift certificate to SCRAP.

Hope to see you!

- Noelle

Fighting the good fight.

TRUST will be CLOSED for First Thursday in January in order to plan, gather resources and to prepare for the one of the greatest demonstrations of civil disobedience in history.  Join us on January 20th, for a march against corporate oligarchy and American fascism in the streets of our beloved city. Let's do this, Portland.

Welcome to TRUST.

We are thrilled to be launching this site concurrently with the November exhibition, STATES OF GRACE: three celebrations of contemporary craft, featuring paintings by MONIKA KRALICEK, weavings by CARDINAL POINT, and special live performance by BRIAN MICHAEL LEVIN.  We couldn't have asked for a better reception, with First Thursday crowds packing the space from beginning 'til end.  Many thanks to PUBLIC COAST BREWING, of Cannon Beach, for donating two kegs of their Oswald IPA, and to RAWDACIOUS Desserts for supplying us with their amazing craft mini-cakes for not one, but three opening receptions this fall.

Come say hello!  If you missed the opening, you can view this show during open gallery hours ~ Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturday, 2-5 pm, or by appointment.  To make an appointment, and for all other inquiries, please email me directly at trust.art.collective@gmail.com.  +++ Noelle

Incredible solo performance by local musician & primitive guitarist BRIAN MICHAEL LEVIN at the opening reception.  This is a rare treat, and an honor to have been able to share this experience with so many people!
